Kale has blown up in popularity over the past few years and for good reason – it has an insanely high nutrient density. Adding citrus like oranges, lemons and limes to kale smoothies helps cut the bitterness and brings out the better side of kale. Use baby kale if you want a milder green taste.
- 2 cups kale
- 1 cup water
- 2 oranges peeled
- 1 cup chopped pineapple
- 1 cup chopped mango
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
Serves 2
Blend the kale, water and oranges until smooth.
Add the pineapple, mango and chia seeds and blend again.
Drink
